The 4 senior team members have a combined 80 years’ experience in the building industry. We have been involved on all types of residential projects from side returns , single & double storey extensions , full refurbishments and new builds.
We use a dedicated team of electrical and gas engineers who work hand in hand with our builders to ensure smooth operations during the build stage who are all accredited , registered and competent in their fields .
Our experience allows us to give advice on development , design , planning and all matters relating to preparing & constructing to standards fit for purpose and which comply with all current building regulations . National Award for best medium renovation project in the UK 2019
London building company C1 Construction & Development Services Ltd, from Leytonstone, has beaten builders across the UK to scoop the award for the best Medium Renovation project in the prestigious Federation of Master Builders’ (FMB) Master Builder Awards 2019.
These awards are designed to celebrate the nation’s best builders and the winners have just been announced in front of a packed audience at a ceremony in London.
Nick Knowles, TV presenter and building enthusiast, handed the best Medium Renovation award to the company for its beautiful renovation work on a Victorian home on the edge of Wanstead Park.
The house, that had laid dormant for some time, was in need of a serious overhaul to bring it up to date. C1 Construction & Development Services took the property back to brickwork and then rewired, replumbed, installed new thermal ash parquet flooring throughout, restored coving and original fireplaces, installed new box sash windows and restored the façade. The team also rebuilt the Victorian pathway before restoring the staircase and wall panelling and installing a marble bathroom and modern kitchen. What makes this project a worthy winner is the fact the team respected the integrity of the Victorian period while including some modern-day design elements, which has made it fit-for-purpose. There is not an inch of space in the house that has not been considered in such a way that the owner doesn’t appreciate its aesthetic appeal.
Judges were highly impressed with the build stating. “An ugly, dark and gloomy Victorian house, that had been ill used and empty for two years, has been utterly transformed. It’s now a lovingly restored home with modern and old elements with the utmost attention paid to the
